Phillip’s Family needs your help.
Phillip Fitzhugh died on April 22, 2008
A friend of mine, Phillip, that I met at Line of Fire Paintball in North Carolina died in a motorcycle accident. Please read the following letter from his parents and if you live in North Carolina, or know someone who does, please help. Thank you, Bea
I wanted to send this out to let everyone know that our son Phillip Fitzhugh was killed in a motorcycle accident on April 22nd of this year. He
was riding his motorcycle in Asheville when Ryan Russell pulled out in front of him and then saw Phillip and tried to back up and put his car in park.
Phillip tried to miss him but couldn’t. He lost control and was ejected from the bike and hit the car. Ryan then put the car in reverse and backed
his car up. Ryan was not charged with anything and did not even get a ticket. Because Phillip was speeding, Ryan and his insurance company GEICO
don’t have to pay anything because of this law. Because of this we now dealing with the emotional stress of losing our son and are now $50,000.00
more in debt because of doctor bills, hospital bills, student loans, funeral cost, ect.. Ryan Russell made the decision to pull his car out and
he caused this accident. We need everyone in North Carolina to sign this petition and help get this law changed. Please read the comments on the petition and see how many other people have been affected the same way. Don’t let this happen to you or your family. We had no idea. Please help…. Our comments and signature are # 930 and 931 please read them.
Sincerely,
James, Rebecca and Pamela Fitzhugh

Went to see Mr. U’s firehouse, but he wasn’t there, so we took a pic in front of his place.
Radio City Music Hall in the background. On July 15th, the 2008 MLB All-Star Game took place. We were there for the parade on the Avenue of the Americas (6th Street).

Starting the Road Trip on the 4th of July
Mike’s in the driver’s seat, I’m the navigator. Brittany traveled with us to Baltimore, Maryland, from Tampa, Florida, and we got picked up by our good friend, Evan Estrate of Pinokio Hoppers. We toured Alexandria, Virginia, close to where Evan resides, and when we got to Evan’s house, his wife greeted us with delicious foods. Jackie got here and she brought a surprise with her - Katie Kelley! Katie is joining our team again this season as we go into the Buffalo Super 7 event. She’s the only one from the previous roster to play again for Mike and me on Destiny. It’s great having her back.
Before Katie left to go home with her beautiful daughter, Brooklyn, we saw the boys light fireworks after our bellies were full. Now, we’re playing Guitar Hero on the wii unit that Jackie brought with her for the trip.
We’re heading out to Canada early in the morning to beat the 4th of July traffic. We’re going towards Gananoque, Canada, where this weekend’s CXBL (CXBL stands for Canadian XBall League) event will be held. Mike, Becky, and Brittany are playing with the Scorpians.
Stay tuned. After this, we’ll be at the following places: (Click READ MORE)
July Destiny/Pinokio Road Trip with a clinic at ZJ Paintball in my birthstate, New Jersey!
I’m going back to my birthstate of New Jersey, and bringing Mike and the girls with me.
I was born in Teaneck, raised in Rahway, so this is especially sentimental; to see that paintball is flourishing in New Jersey will be a special treat for me. Click on READ MORE to get all the details.
Bea, Mike, and Rocky @ Camp Blanding in September!
Remember Fathers on Father’s Day…
My Dad on the far right, then my Uncle Dan (my GodFather), my Uncle Bob, and my Uncle Eddie (passed away in 91), and in front, my Poppy (passed away in 93).
A Tribute Video for my Dad, my Grandfather (who has passed away), my godfather (Uncle Dan), and my Uncle Eddie (who has passed away and is my brother’s godfather)
Please don’t forget to do something special with your father. It’s more than just getting him a tie, socks, t-shirt, or a gift. It’s about spending that quality time with your dad and doing something for him that would make him think to himself, “My kid really does love me.” Today, my brother and I took my father to a Flag Day memorial at the local Elks Lodge. Tomorrow, we’ll spend time with dad again, of course, and make him a special dinner. We’ll sing karaoke to my Dad, too.
World Paintball Day is June 22 and we’re going to be at Fox4 Paintball to celebrate!
